How your donation helps

In the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), over 16,000 mpox cases have been reported this year, and more than 500 lives have been lost, many of them children. The outbreak is worsening by the day, spreading to neighbouring countries and putting even more lives at risk.

Your donation today can provide life-saving support to children in urgent need.

The impact on children is devastating. Nearly 40% of mpox cases in DRC involve children under five – fragile lives already at risk in conflict zones and overcrowded refugee camps where healthcare is limited. Your support is crucial in shielding these young lives from further harm.

Our local teams are working tirelessly in affected communities to get help to those who need it most. We’re providing critical aid including hygiene promotion, public education and medical care, to combat this outbreak. But as the virus spreads, the need for vital treatment grows, and more lives hang in the balance.

Your donation today will help us reach more children and families with the early detection, treatment and safe hygiene practices they need to survive.

Your generosity today can be the lifeline that saves a child’s life.
